As an composer, arranger and orchestrator, I have written for a broad range of ensembles, including big bands (such as the Birdland Big Band and the Columbus Jazz Orchestra) and symphony orchestras (including the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and Detroit Symphony Orchestra), as well as for the Houston Grand Opera, The North Carolina Brass Band, Broadway productions and national television. My work has been performed by artists such as Lady Gaga, Catherine Russell, Martina DaSilva, Nicole Zuraitis, Peter Bernstein, Aubrey Logan, Dick Oatts, Gunhild Carling, and Brian Newman. I have also contributed original arrangements to the PBS programs Jazz Tonight and Salute to Service: A Veterans Day Celebration.

I place a strong emphasis on creating memorable melodies, developing cohesive musical ideas, and crafting arrangements that tell a story.
